SUMAC
Sumac is any one of about 35 species of flowering plants in the genus Rhus and related genera, in the family Anacardiaceae. Sumacs grows in many regions of Turkey.
The dried and powdered fruits of Rhus coriaria are used as a spice in Middle Eastern cuisine. Sumac is as spice and beverage flavoring agent, dye and tannin agent. It is also used in medicine since it’s high antioxidant capacity.
